Nicollet County Warrant Records Nicollet County Warrant Records

This page explains what this site can and cannot help with, and where a Nicollet County warrant question actually belongs. Official answers come from the district court or the county sheriff, and the routing below sends each request to the office that holds the record.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. This is a private reference site. It cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bail, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, reach the district court or the sheriff's office directly.

Most warrant questions in Nicollet County belong with one of three offices. Here is where each one goes.

  • A court case, an appearance, or warrant status: Nicollet County Court Administration at 507-550-7032 or 5thNicolletCourtAdmin@courts.state.mn.us, which is the public contact for the district court
  • The court file itself: Minnesota Court Records Online, the state case search that covers many public district court records but is not a complete warrant index
  • Sheriff-held reports and service records: the Nicollet County Sheriff's Office Records Department at 507-934-7100, or the records line listed in the county directory at 507-934-7109
  • Resolving a warrant in your own case: a licensed Minnesota attorney and the issuing district court, because only a judge can recall a warrant or set release terms

Court Administration works from the third floor of the Government Center at 501 S Minnesota Ave in St. Peter, and the court counter is open on weekdays. The sheriff's records staff answer questions Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Written record requests go to Nicollet County Sheriff's Office, Attn: Records, 501 S Minnesota Ave, PO Box 117, St. Peter, MN 56082. The office accepts a data request by email, mail, fax, or in person, and the preparer should confirm a fax number before sending one because county pages list two different numbers.
